A MOTHER'S FAITH BRINGS A SON'S HEALING
|
Nashville, TN – May 06, 2009-- As mothers will be honored this Sunday all over the world for Mother's Day, one special testimony is a reminder of the faithfulness of God even to a Muslim mother. Bill Kristijanto, co-founder with his brother Ben of Christian band, Bread of Stone recently shared his testimony with major media outlets as One Cubed/CBN International, NewReleaseTuesday and Beautiful Faith during Gospel Music Week in Nashville, Tennessee.
The testimony of the unique experience was shared as Bill told how he was born with a debilitating stomach problem resulting in a lack of nourishment. After being placed on bottle feeding to help the nourishment problem, a boil developed on Bill's chin preventing bottle feeding. After numerous hours and visits at doctor's offices, his mother, Debora from Iran and a Muslim, allowed someone to pray for him and the boil was gone but the stomach problems continued.
Weeks later a visit from a woman informing Debora that there was someone who loved her son more than her and His name was Jesus, sparked anger as to how this woman would know more about her son than her. With the love of a mother, Debora sought out to find out about this man named Jesus and visited her husband Nehemia's pastor, resulting in weeks of Biblical training and baptism. As Debora was baptized into the faith with Bill in her arms, Debora's heart became open to God and healing came upon Bill with the stomach problems removed completely.
"My mother is truly an example of a woman of beautiful faith" said Kristijanto in a recent interview. "From the first day she opened her heart to God, she has never stopped serving Him."

BREAD OF STONE WINS ROCK BAND AWARD
Band Continues 40-City Tour
|
Nashville, TN – March 19, 2009--Excited fans and sold out concerts are comments Bread of Stone is hearing pertaining to the 40-city "Join The Tribe" tour. This week a whole new buzz was heard when the group received the "Rising Star Christian Rock Band" Award. Gigmasters announced Bread of Stone as one of the top winners from its 5500 entertainment acts nationwide.
This award adds to the visibility the group is receiving this week in California, with this morning's interview and performance on Channel 17's Sunrise show, an NBC affiliate. Later in the day, the band was featured on ABC's Channel 23 as they discuss their music ministry and upcoming half time performance tonight at the Bakersfield Jam, an NBA Development League game. The live performance by Bread of Stone will be televised on the Bright House Networks.

REMEDY DRIVE JOINS HANDS WITH COMMUNITY FOR BENEFIT CONCERT

Nashville, TN – December 18, 2008-- Ringing in the New Year will be celebrated in many different ways, but for Remedy Drive it will start with helping a family raise money. The group will participate in a benefit concert for Aaron and Jennifer Thompson who are adopting orphaned siblings from the Philippines.
The event will be held at Freeman Academy in Freeman, South Dakota on January 1, 2009. Remedy Drive will join with the Thompson family, friends and local businesses to help in this community effort.
”I get very excited about doing something that is going to benefit children," says David Zach, lead singer for Remedy Drive. "Being able to rally with a whole community to help a family make even one child's life better, brings all of us in Remedy Drive joy. We are grateful to be given this opportunity to get beside this family in helping them accomplish their goal."
"We are really trusting God to make this all work out since we know this is what He wants," said Jennifer Thompson. "It will totally be worth all the work."
